I am originally from the London area, but for much of my life I lived in Los Angeles; now for seven years I've resided in the Costa de Almeria area of Spain, along with my wife Pauline and two very individual cats.
My background is hugely varied: from professional ballroom dance competitor and teacher, to computer programmer, real estate sales, and graphics and photography, which is still my full-time career. I produced and hosted non-mainstream music shows on KPCC-FM Pasadena, California for three years (1991-94) and two more shows for almost three years (2006-09) for Valle Radio in Albox, Almeria. I currently have a weekly show running on Sunshine-FM in Spain's Costa Blanca.
My interest in vintage music of many styles originated back in my teens in the 1960s, listening to the variety shows of Jack Jackson, Sam Costa and others on the BBC Light Programme. Since then, my tastes have widened even further and my shows reflect a huge cross-section of musical styles from the 1920s through to the 1960s, and beyond if a track fits the remit! And with over 130,000 tracks in my iTunes library, I doubt that I will be running out of material anytime soon...
