Shows will no longer be broadcast on Valle Radio

Due to much increased work requirements, I now find that I don't have enough regular and predictable spare time to devote to the programming of my radio shows. The majority of time spent is on getting a show ready - choosing the material and investigating and deciding what I'm going to say about the tracks: the on-air time is the 'icing' that makes the baking of the cake worth the effort!

I have reluctantly decided, therefore, to cut down on my broadcasts. Those Dancing Years will be cancelled until further notice as this show takes the majority of my spare time. The last show will air on Sunday, August 9th, 2009.

Hot Pipes! will continue as an Internet-only show: I hope to be able to keep up a weekly schedule as before. Since the show will no longer air locally, I will be changing the style of the show a little to make it more of an 'enthusiasts' production, rather than catering partly to an albeit small local listening base.

I do hope that at some time in the future that I will be able to restart Those Dancing Years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my two and a half years producing and presenting the show!
